Cage Warriors 159 is good to go with nine professional bouts tomorrow night, after the fighters weighed-in under the auspices of the California State Athletic Commission at the Sycuan Casino Resort on Thursday morning.
The main event is set, with both Wilson Reis (134.9lbs) and Trevin Jones (135.7lbs) hitting their marks with ease for their three-round, bantamweight bout.
Hawaii’s Toby Misech was the sole participant unable to meet his contracted weight, tipping the scales at 146.8lbs for his featherweight clash with Roberto Hernandez (145.9lbs). Misech will be fined a percentage of his purse and the bout will proceed as planned.
Originally scheduled to meet at 145lbs, John De Jesus (153.7lbs) and Elijah Leggett (155.5lbs) will instead compete in a lightweight bout on the evening’s main card.
