With stars like Tanner Boser having reached the pinnacle of the MMA mountain, Unified MMA’s next-man-up style of promotion when it comes to finding the next northern star has allowed Canadian MMA to thrive on their own terms rather than fall in line with everybody else. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a leopard of leaping quickness ready to enter the warm zone for the organization. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2022 and representing Fight Factory, Mohamed Ado owns a 2-0 record comprised of one knockout and one submission. He has spent his entire career in the professional ranks with Unified MMA. He is 2-0 under the Unified MMA banner with two finishes under his belt in two appearances with the promotion. Ado has never gone to the scorecards at any time over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter and has a 100 percent finish rate to show for it. Both of his finishes during his career have been inside the distance with times of four minutes and 44 seconds and one minute and 58 seconds respectively. Ado has one second-round finish in addition to a single first-round finish in his first two outings as a professional mixed martial artist.
In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Unified MMA at Unified MMA 48, he faced Matt Speciale and went on to defeat him via technical knockout in the second round to secure his first knockout win as a professional. Then at Unified MMA 51, Ado submitted Taylor Cahill via rear-naked choke in round one. The win earned Ado the first submission victory of his professional career along with back-to-back finishes. He also picked up consecutive victories under the Unified MMA banner in the process. Ado’s systematic dismantling of the opposition can chill the loudest of crowds on either side of the border line!
