Across The Pond Profile: Fury Fighting Championship fighter Jacobe Smith

Successful division one college wrestlers have earned their fair share of professional rewards upon leaving the dorm life for newer ventures that alter life as they once knew it. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be the latest cowboy of the collegiate corral coming out pistols blazing at welterweight for Fury Fighting Championship. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2021 and representing Fortis MMA, Jacobe Smith holds an undefeated 7-0 record comprised of five knockouts and two decisions. The majority of his victories over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter have been inside the distance with the bulk of those victories coming in a single round. Smith is 4-0 under the Fury Fighting Championship banner with two finishes under his belt in four appearances with the organization. He has gone to the scorecards twice during his time in the professional ranks sweeping them clean across the board both times.

In his MMA debut at XFL 374, he defeated Roderick Stewart via technical knockout in round one. Smith also defeated Will Florentino via TKO in the first round at XFL 378. He defeated Zac Kelley via technical knockout in round one at XFL 381. Then in his promotional debut with Fury Fighting Championship at Fury FC 72, Smith defeated Tommie Britton via TKO in the first round. He defeated Levion Lewis via unanimous decision at Fury FC 74. Smith defeated Austin Jones at Fury FC 81 via unanimous decision to earn his second decision win as a professional.

At Fury FC 83, he knocked out Brian Grinell in the first round. The win earned Smith the fifth knockout victory of his professional career in addition to extending his unbeaten streak to seven in a row along with picking up victory number four under the Fury FC banner in the process. When Smith saddles up, the arsenal is well stocked!
