When a fighter finally makes their long awaited debut in the professional ranks, the show really begins along with the daily grind that comes with being in an athletic profession. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the newest hound ready to chase foes into a corner at bantamweight for Legacy Fighting Alliance at 28 years old. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2023 and representing Northern Illinois Combat Club and Fitness, Shad Walters owns a 1-0 record with his only victory coming via knockout. He has spent his whole career during his time in the professional ranks with Legacy Fighting Alliance. The one and only finish during his professional career has been in the second round with a time of 38 seconds to show for it. Walters has never gone through to the scorecards at any point over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter. He is 1-0 under the LFA banner with a single finish for the organization. Walters has a 100 percent finish rate and has one second-round finish under his belt in his only appearance as a professional mixed martial artist. He also fought for LFA as an amateur in 2022 and 2023 at LFA 142 and LFA 149 respectively. All of Walters’s finishes have been within the distance.
In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the preliminary of LFA 169, he faced Darius Miller and went on to knock him out in the second round. The win earned Walters the first knockout victory of his professional career in addition to his only finish as a professional. He also picked up victory number one under the LFA banner in the process. Walters is one bloodhound an opponent does not want on the tracking trail when the hunting horn gets blown to signal the start of the chase!
