For those in the fight game, age is something that does not determine their will and passion for the sporting life regardless of whether they take it up in youth early on or in the twilight of their golden years. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a stallion of the winter snow ready for his time in Glory’s sunshine for Throne MMA. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2023 and representing WURK, Tim Bender owns a 1-1-1 record comprised of one submission and a single no contest. The one and only finish during his career as a professional mixed martial artist has come inside the opening round with a time of one minute and five seconds. He has fought for Art Of War Cage Fighting, Ignite Fights and OFP. He has finished his lone win during his time in the professional ranks and has a finish rate of 100 percent with a single first-round finish to show for it. Bender has never gone to the scorecards at any juncture over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter. He has spent the majority of his professional fighting career in the Midwestern United States in Wisconsin and Minnesota respectively and has also fought in Pennsylvania. Bender’s lone professional victory has come within five minutes or less.

In his professional MMA debut in the co-main event of Warrior Games 15, he faced Matt Main and went on to submit him in the first round via rear-naked choke. The win secured Bender the first submission victory of his professional career. He also picked up his first and only win as a professional in the process. With Midwestern fortitude, Bender is out to deliver a joyous 2024 in the Dakotas and have a crowning moment at this stage of life at the seasoned age of 33!
