A professional mixed martial artist since October 2023 and representing Parabellum Martial Arts and Strength, Ray Hayes holds a 1-0 record with the only victory during his career in the professional ranks coming via technical knockout. He has one first-round finish under his belt in his career as a professional mixed martial artist with a time of three minutes and 40 seconds. Hayes has spent his entire professional career with Synergy FC and has never gone to the scorecards at any juncture over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter. He has a finish rate of 100 percent and has spent his whole career in his home state of Missouri. His one and only finish has come inside the opening round in the span of five minutes or less. Hayes is 1-0 under the Synergy FC banner with a single finish in his only appearance with the promotion to show for it. He has finished his lone win inside the professional ranks.
In his professional MMA debut on the main card of Synergy FC 8, he faced Abraham Benjamin and went on to defeat him via TKO in the first round. The victory earned Hayes the first knockout win of his professional career in addition to his first win and finish under the Synergy FC banner.
