Across The Pond Profile: Full Contact Contender fighter Jamie Davies

Relationships between promotions and the fighters on their roster are forged in the early stages of a career and often remain attached at the hip once they eventually move on to bigger stages and greener pastures. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the newest jungle ape of the treetops ready to become King Kong amongst welterweights for Full Contact Contender on March 9 at FCC 37 from The Olympia in Liverpool. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2023 and representing The Monkey House Gym, Jamie Davies owns a 1-0 record with his lone win during his time in the professional MMA ranks coming via decision. He has gone to the scorecards once during his career as a professional mixed martial artist sweeping them clean across the board on that one and only occasion. Davies has spent his entire career as a professional MMA fighter with Full Contact Contender. He is 1-0 under the Full Contact Contender banner. Davies only victory has come via a unanimous verdict over a period of three rounds and a duration of 15 minutes. He also fought for Full Contact Contender as an amateur prior to turning professional in addition to Budo Fighting Championships.

In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Full Contact Contender in the opening main card bout of FCC 36, he faced Sofiane Al Bahri and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. The victory scored Davies the first decision win of his professional career along with picking up win number one under the Full Contact Contender banner. Davies also secured his first and only win as a professional in the process. Davies has power that can pull even the tallest tree out of the earth by their supporting roots which can lead to whole ecosystems being silenced by the ax blade of mankind’s big swing!
