The brightest of prospects with their entire futures ahead of them are often found in the unlikeliest of states for MMA hotbeds. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a tiger of hard granite whose slinging ability has left the opposition to fall like a sack of rocks and is turning out well worth the admission price for Legacy Fighting Alliance at light heavyweight at 22 years young. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2022 and representing Hulett House Gym, Mervin Miller holds an undefeated 5-0 record comprised of two submissions, two decisions and a DQ. Both of his finishes during his time in the professional MMA ranks have come inside the distance. Miller is 2-0 under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner with a single finish under his belt in two appearances with the organization. He has gone to the scorecards twice over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter sweeping them clean across the board both times.
In his MMA debut at Midwest Fight League, he faced Robert Burgess and defeated him via unanimous decision. Miller submitted Josh Weston in the second round via rear-naked choke at Midwest Fight League. He defeated Tristan Overvig via unanimous decision at Cage Of Honor 89. Miller defeated Derek Benoit via DQ in round two in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 168.
Then in second appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the preliminary card of LFA 174, he submitted Kory Mogenburg via arm-triangle choke in round one. The win earned Miller the second submission win of his professional career along with his second victory under the LFA banner. He also secured his fifth consecutive win overall as a professional in the process. Miller’s hunger for the fighting life has left opponents transfixed in stony silence as a high penalty for sporting transgressions!
