Promotional jitters are always to be expected when fighters take leaps of professional faith from the smaller environment of the regional scene. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a big cat of thunderous showmanship ready to take Kentucky by the tail in LFA’S return to the Bluegrass state on March 29 at LFA 180 from Broadbent Arena off the heels of a successful debut in the state last year with LFA 160. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2021 and representing ES MMA And Fitness, Jessie Martinelli owns a 3-1 record with all three of his victories coming via TKO. He has fought for several organizations during his time in the professional MMA ranks including Shamrock FC and Nemesis Fighting Alliance. Martinelli has a 100 percent finish rate with all of his wins over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter coming inside the distance. He has spent the majority of his professional career in his home state of Missouri. He has one first-round finish under his belt to go along with a single second-round finish and a single-third round finish through his first four professional appearances thus far. Martinelli fought for Shamrock FC prior to debuting with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 157 in April 2023.
In his MMA debut at Shamrock FC 333, he faced Jesus Villegas and defeated him via technical knockout in round one. Martinelli defeated Tyler Stokes via TKO in the third round at Shamrock FC 337. Then in the main event of Nemesis Fighting Alliance 15, he defeated Dillon Tolbert via technical knockout in round two. The win scored Martinelli the third knockout victory of his professional career. He also secured his third win overall as a professional in the process.
