The English capital and Cage Warriors have remained intertwined and have managed to create a lifetime’s worth of memorable homecomings together in their storybook partnership. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a knight of no fright ready to scare flyweights out of their skin on March 30 at Cage Warriors 169. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2022 and representing GB Top Team, Jawany Scott holds a 3-1 record in four bouts comprised of two decisions and one knockout. He has fought for several organizations during his career as a professional MMA fighter including Brave Combat Federation and Ares Fighting Championship. The one and only finish during his career as a professional mixed martial artist has come inside the second round. Scott has gone to the scorecards twice over the course of his career as a professional mixed martial artist sweeping them clean across the board on both occasions. He also fought for Cage Warriors as an amateur prior to turning professional. Scott has a single second-round finish through four appearances under his belt with a time of one minute and 35 seconds. Both of his decision wins have resulted in a unanimous verdict.
In his MMA debut at Cage Glory Championship, he defeated Alexey Alekseev via technical knockout in the second round to score his first knockout win as a professional. Scott defeated Gregory Wamtyan via unanimous decision in his second outing with Ares Fighting Championship at Ares FC 14. Then at Brave CF 75, he defeated Urbay Gonzalez via unanimous decision. The victory secured Scott the second decision win of his professional career. He also picked up his third win overall as a professional in the process. For his promotional debut with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 169 on March 30, Scott will face Jean Matos in a flyweight affair. Good luck Jawany!
