Across The Pond Profile: Med City Fighting Championships fighter Josh Clark

Flyweights may be small in stature but can pack a serious punch when called upon in the biggest moments on the local scene or the big leagues. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a raider of red victory ready to warm the Minnesota night on April 27 at Med City Fighting Championships from Graham Arena. A professional mixed martial artist since April 2023 and representing Valhalla Combat, Josh Clark owns a 2-0 record comprised of one submission and one knockout. He has fought for Caged Aggression and Aftermath Combat Sports. Both of his finishes during his career in the professional MMA ranks have been inside the opening round with times of four minutes and 50 seconds and four minutes and 40 seconds. Clark has a 100 percent finish rate and has never gone to the scorecards at any point over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter. He has two first-round finishes in each of his appearances under his belt. Clark has spent his entire career as a professional mixed martial artist in the Midwestern region of the United States.

In his MMA debut at Aftermath Combat Sports Aftermath 3, he faced Andre Sellars and defeated him via technical knockout in round one to score his first knockout win as a professional. Then at Caged Aggression 36, Clark submitted Bryann Heathcock in the first round via rear-naked choke. The win secured Clark the first submission victory of his professional career in addition to his second win overall. He also picked up back-to back finishes to begin his professional career in the process.

At Med City Fighting Championships 2 on April 27, he will face Jose Vasquez in an encounter at flyweight. Other professionals to be featured on Med City Fighting Championships 2 include Derek Benoit, Bobby Lee and Tyler Mathison. Good luck Josh!
