Across The Pond Profile: Throne MMA fighter Marc Hummel

Regardless of how many fights you have under your belt, there is always going to be something extra special about getting the opportunity to fight in front of the hometown faithful after an extended period out of action from something that you have learned to love. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a wolverine of the Winter woods ready to chop and chase the demons away on April 12 for Throne MMA at Northern Lights Casino. A professional mixed martial artist since November 2015 and representing Start BJJ, Marc Hummel owns a 4-7 record in 11 contests comprised of three knockouts and one submission. He has fought for numerous organizations during his career as a professional MMA fighter including RFA. Hummel has finished all four of his wins over the course of his career as a professional mixed martial artist with a finish rate of 100 percent to show for it. All of Hummel’s professional victories have come within the opening round in the space of five minutes or less. He has spent the majority of his professional career in his home state of Minnesota.

At North Star Combat 4, he faced Daniel Ledoux and went on to defeat him via technical knockout in round one. Hummel submitted Jacob Wymann in the first round via anaconda choke at KOTC Ultimate Collision to score his first and only submission win as a professional. Then at KOTC Revolutionary, he defeated Cody Garness via TKO in the first round. Hummel defeated Alex Lennick at Huff Entertainment Bud Brawl via technical knockout in round one. The victory secured Hummel the third knockout win of his professional career. He also picked up his fourth win overall as a professional in the process.

In the co-main event of Throne MMA on April 12, he will face Derek Gottlieb in an encounter at lightweight. Good luck Marc!
