He has spent his whole professional career with Cage Warriors. Brunning has a 100 percent finish rate and has never gone to the scorecards at any juncture over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter. He fought for Cage Warriors Academy Southeast as an amateur prior to turning professional. Brunning is 1-0 under the Cage Warriors banner. His one and only finish during his career as a professional mixed martial artist has come within the opening round with a time of two minutes and 23 seconds. Brunning has spent his entire career in the United Kingdom. He has a single first-round finish in his lone professional appearance under his belt so far in the span of fewer than five minutes.
In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Cage Warriors on the preliminary card of Cage Warriors 169, he faced Kevin Cesari and went on to defeat him via technical knockout in the first round. The win secured Brunning the first knockout victory of his professional career along with his first win under the Cage Warriors banner.
