The biggest burden for an unbeaten fighter to bear on their shoulders is maintaining the illusion of perfection when a target is on their back as they begin the climb. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the newest belle of the cage ball ready to put on the glass slipper for PFL Europe as the latest addition to the flyweight division for the promotion’s second slate of seasonal events in 2024. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2023 and representing Manchester Top Team, Sammy Jo Luxton owns a 2-0 record with each of her victories during her career in the professional MMA ranks coming via TKO. Luxton has fought for several promotions over the course of her career as a professional mixed martial artist including Full Contact Contender. Both of her wins during her time as a professional MMA fighter have been within the opening round in the space of five minutes or less. Luxton has a 100 percent finish rate and has never gone to the scorecards at any point in time during her professional career. She has spent her entire career in the United Kingdom. Luxton has two first-round finishes in her first two appearances as a professional under her belt to show for it.

In her professional MMA debut, she faced Jodie Gormley and went on to defeat her via technical knockout in round one. Then in her one and only appearance with Full Contact Contender on the main card of FCC 37, Luxton defeated Agata Truskolaska in the first round. The victory secured Luxton the second knockout win of her professional career in addition to back-to-back finishes. She also picked up back-to-back wins to begin her professional career in the process, If the slipper is a perfect fit, Luxton’s professional beginning could be anything but a fairy tale, even in the hands of a worldwide novelist!
