Across The Pond Profile: Cage Warriors fighter Charles Joyner

International stars are no stranger to fighting across oceans to chase the dreams of fighting in the yellow gloves for Cage Warriors. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a down under lightning bolt ready to deliver a thunderous outback assault for the promotion at light heavyweight. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2023 and representing TFT MMA under Andrew Fisher, Charles Joyner owns a 3-1 record with all of those victories coming via TKO. He has fought for Caged Steel, Almighty Fighting Championship and Full Contact Contender. He is 1-0 under the Cage Warriors banner with a single finish under his belt in his lone appearance with a time of one minute and seven seconds. 100 percent of Joyner’s finishes during his career in the professional MMA ranks have come inside the opening round. He has never gone to the scorecards at any point in time over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter. Joyner has three first-round finishes under his belt through his first four outings as a professional mixed martial artist. He has spent his entire professional career in the United Kingdom.

In his professional MMA debut at Almighty Fighting Championship 30, he faced Liam Dunn and went on to knock him out in the first round. Joyner also knocked out Teejay Daley in round one at Caged Steel 34. Then in his promotional debut with Cage Warriors on the preliminary card of Cage Warriors 172, he knocked out Albert Serpeti in round one. The victory earned Joyner the third knockout win of his professional career along with win number one under the Cage Warriors banner. He also picked up his third overall victory inside the professional ranks in the process. Joyner is one boomerang that packs plenty of zip for his global forays, even for the return journey homeward!
