Going for gold can be challenging when a fighter needs to enter hostile territory in order to obtain the item that they seek. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a roughrider of proud Canadian power ready to seize middleweight gold north of the boarder for Cage Fury Fighting Championships. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2022 and representing Pride Gym, Keanan Patershuk holds a 5-1 record in six outings comprised of four knockouts and one submission. He has finished all five of his victories during his career in the professional ranks and is 2-0 under the Cage Fury Fighting Championships banner. Patershuk has a 100 percent finishing rate and has never gone to the scorecards at any point in time over the course of his professional career. All of his finishes during his journey as a professional MMA fighter have been within the opening round in the span of five minutes or fewer. He has fought for various promotions throughout his professional career including Battlefield Fight League and Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat.

In his MMA debut at Fusion Fight League, he submitted Erik Teer in the first round via rear-naked choke to earn his first and only submission win as a professional. Patershuk defeated Keanan Kellar via technical knockout in round one at BFL 75. Then in his promotional debut with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 121, he knocked out Christian Echols in the first round. Patershuk defeated Kail Melton via TKO in round one at Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat 13. In his second appearance with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 127, he defeated Khadzhimurat Bestaev via technical knockout in the first round. The win scored Patershuk the fourth knockout victory of his professional career in addition to win number two under the CFFC banner in the process.

In the main event of CFFC 132 on June 14, he will square off against UFC veteran Kyle Daukaus for the CFFC middleweight title. Good luck Keanan!
