An Amateur mixed martial artist since April 2019 and representing Team Renagade, Shay Ingram holds an unbeaten 9-0 record comprised of five submissions, one knockout and three decisions. He has fought for several promotions during his Amateur career including Golden Ticket Fight Promotions, Battle Arena and Full Contact Contender. Ingram has finished six out of his nine wins overall over the course of his career as an Amateur mixed martial artist and has spent his entire career in the United Kingdom. He has gone to the scorecards three times during his career as an Amateur MMA fighter sweeping them clean across the board on all three occasions.
In his Amateur MMA debut, he submitted Jack Star in round one via rear-naked choke. Ingram also tapped out his next two opponents in Oliver Johnson and Dan Foster. Then at Battle Arena 59, he submitted Bart Irwinina via rear-naked choke in the third round. Ingram defeated Mateusz Ircow at Battle Arena 60 via unanimous decision. He defeated Thomas Owen via unanimous decision at Golden Ticket Fight Promotions 18. Ingram submitted David Daniel Komar at Golden Ticket Fight Promotions 21 via rear-naked choke in the fifth round to secure his fifth submission win as an Amateur. He defeated Christian Soda at FCC 35 via unanimous decision to earn his third decision win as an Amateur.
At Golden Ticket Fight Promotions 25, he defeated Cheikh Mane via technical knockout in round four. The victory scored Ingram the first knockout win of his Amateur career in addition to his sixth finish overall. Even though his record stands untarnished, Ingram’s supreme confidence never wavers in the brightest of spotlights!
