An Amateur mixed martial artist since March 2017 and representing HD Performance Centre, Branden Guest holds a 7-2 record in nine outings comprised of four knockouts, one submission and two decisions. He has fought for several promotions during his Amateur career including Caged Steel and Golden Ticket Fight Promotions. Guest has finished five out of his seven overall wins over the course of his career as an Amateur MMA fighter and has spent his whole career in the United Kingdom. He has gone to the scorecards twice during his career as an Amateur mixed martial artist.

In his Amateur MMA debut at Caged Steel 17, he defeated Stanislavs Daleckis in the first round. Guest also defeated Jake Watkins in round one at Caged Steel 19. Then at Almighty Fighting Championship 16, he knocked out David Wilkinson in the fifth round. Guest defeated Yassine Adjadj at Golden Ticket Fight Promotions 16 via unanimous decision. He submitted Oliver Bassil in the first round via keylock at Caged Steel 27. Guest defeated Julius Bernsdorf at Golden Ticket Fight Promotions 19 via a split decision to secure his second decision win as an amateur.

At Golden Ticket Fight Promotions 21, he defeated Tyler Adams via technical knockout in round one. The victory earned Guest the fourth knockout win of his Amateur career in addition to his seventh win overall and fifth finish.
