Even after they achieve professional success, the stars of tomorrow are always reminded of how they got there and why MMA is going to be their first love. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a canine of utter carnage whose early promise is proving to be anything but puppy love for his opponents at just 22 years old with a trejection of no limits A professional mixed martial artist since June 2024 and representing Marathon Mixed Martial Arts under head coach Trey Ogden, Austin Spangler owns a 1-0 record with his lone victory inside the professional MMA ranks coming via submission. Spangler has spent his entire professional tenure with Synergy FC and is 1-0 under their banner with one finish under his finish in his lone appearance with the promotion thus far. His one and only finish during his professional career has come within the opening round with a time of one minute and 20 seconds. Spangler has never gone to the scorecards at any time over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter and has a 100 percent finish rate to show for it. He has a single first-round finish under his belt in his only professional outing so far. Spangler also fought for Synergy FC as an amateur prior to turning professional.
In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Synergy FC on the main card of Synergy FC 13, he faced Tony Grant and submitted him in the first round via rear-naked choke. The victory earned Spangler the first submission win of his professional career along with his first finish under the Synergy FC banner. He also picked up his first win and finish inside the professional ranks in the process. The consequences are set to increase in severity if Spangler hands down an unfortunate ruling from his youthful perch!
