Across The Pond Profile: Throne MMA fighter John Moore

Crossing the border into a foreign land is just one of the many aspects of being a professional fighter that never gets any easier when it comes to giving out some golden hardware. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the newest Northern flyer ready to swoop in and seize golden riches for Throne MMA from Spirit Lake Resort and Casino on August 24. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2022 and representing Dunamis Martial Arts and Kodokan BJJ, John Moore holds an undefeated 3-0 record comprised of two decisions and one knockout. He has fought for several promotions during his career in the professional MMA ranks in his home country of Canada including Unified MMA and Havoc Fighting Championship. The one and only finish during Moore’s professional career has been within a single round with a time of two minutes and 58 seconds. He has gone to the scorecards twice during his career as a professional mixed martial artist sweeping them clean across the board on both occasions. Moore has a single first-round finish under his belt through his first three professional appearances and has spent his entire career in his home nation of Canada.

In his MMA debut at Unified MMA 44, he faced Sebastian Lopez and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Moore also defeated Matt McDonald at FLA 6 via unanimous decision to secure his second decision win as a professional. Then at Havoc Fighting Championship 16, he defeated Mark Steane via technical knockout in the first round to earn the first knockout win of his professional career in addition to his third consecutive victory overall. He also picked up his first finish inside the professional career in the process.

On August 24 at Throne MMA, he will face off against Derek Benoit for the Super Middleweight title. Good luck John!
