Across The Pond Profile: Emilio Vallecillo

Opportunities to fight in the comfort of your home state can be essential learning lessons for those who are just beginning to navigate the professional waters. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a panther of loyal Bluegrass blood ready to pounce into the fray at Light Heavyweight with his Kentucky kinfolk. A professional mixed martial artist since April 2023 and representing Derby City Mixed Martial Arts, Emilio Vallecillo owns a 2-0 record comprised of one decision and one knockout. He has fought for B2 Fighting Series and Legacy Fighting Alliance. The lone finish during Vallecillo’s professional career has been inside of a single round with a time of one minute and 27 seconds. He has gone to the scorecards once over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter sweeping them across the board on that occasion over a period of three rounds and a duration of 15 minutes. Vallecillo has spent his whole career in his home state of Kentucky. He has a single first-round finish under his belt in his first two appearances as a professional mixed martial artist thus far.

In his MMA debut at B2 Fighting Series 180, he faced William Myers and defeated him via technical knockout in round one to secure his first knockout win as a professional in addition to his first and only finish. Then in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the preliminary card of LFA 180, Vallecillo defeated Taylor Meister via unanimous decision. The victory earned Vallecillo the first decision win of his professional career. He also picked up back-to-back wins to begin his professional career in the process. Vallecillo is a prospect who knows where his true loyalties will always lay as a matter of principle and will richly reward those that remain undaunted by false promises as his star rises higher into the cloudless heavens!
