In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet an archer of golden arrows hitting the bullseye at Welterweight for Cage Warriors Academy Southeast. An Amateur mixed martial artist since October 2023 and representing BKK Fighters under head coach Jack Mason, Ben Edwards owns a 4-0 record comprised of three decisions and one knockout. He has spent his whole Amateur career with Cage Warriors Academy Southeast and is 4-0 under their banner. Edwards has gone to the scorecards three times during his Amateur career sweeping them clean across the board on all of those occasions. He has a single second-round finish under his belt in four appearances over the course of his career in the Amateur MMA ranks. Edwards has spent his entire career as an Amateur MMA fighter in the United Kingdom.
In his Amateur MMA debut and promotional debut with Cage Warriors Academy Southeast at CWASE 32, he defeated Sameed Ahmed via unanimous decision. Edwards defeated Tommy Reid via technical knockout in the second round at Cage Warriors Academy Southeast 33 to earn his first and only knockout win as an Amateur. Then at Cage Warriors Academy Southeast 33, he defeated Rob Earls via unanimous decision.
At Cage Warriors Academy Southeast 35, Edwards defeated James Hale via unanimous decision to secure the third decision win of his Amateur career in addition to his fourth consecutive victory under the Cage Warriors Academy Southeast banner. He also picked up victory number four inside the Amateur ranks in the process. At 4-0, Edwards is certainly coming up aces through his Amateur trials!
