A professional mixed martial artist since March 2024 and representing The Mat Academy Wales under head coach Lewis Long, Ryan Lockyer holds a 1-1 record with his sole victory coming via technical knockout. Lockyer has fought for Raged UK MMA and Full Contact Contender and has spent his whole professional career in the United Kingdom. He has never gone to the scorecards at any time during his career as a professional MMA fighter with a finish rate of 100 percent to show for it. The only finish over the course of Lockyer’s career in the professional MMA ranks has been inside of a single round with a time of one minute and 25 seconds. He also fought for several promotions as an Amateur including Golden Ticket Fight Promotions and Cage Warriors Academy Wales prior to turning professional.
In his professional debut on the main card of Raged UK MMA 18, he faced Konrad Nowicki and defeated him via TKO in the first round. The win earned Lockyer the first knockout victory and finish of his professional career in addition to his first victory under the Raged UK MMA banner. He also picked up his first win inside the professional ranks in the process.
