In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a lone star ground rustler wrangling in the stray steers at Lightweight for Fury Fighting Championship. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2021 and representing 4 OZ Fight Club, Hector Saenz holds a 7-2 record through nine bouts comprised of three submissions, three decisions and one knockout. Saenz has spent his whole professional career with Fury Fighting Championship and has finished four out of his seven overall victories over the course of his career in the professional MMA ranks. He has spent his entire career in the United States fighting in his home state of Texas. Saenz also fought for Fury Fighting Championship as an Amateur prior to turning professional.
In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Fury Fighting Championship at Fury FC 55, he faced Jonathon Moskowitz and went on to defeat him via a split decision. Saenz submitted Raymond Cardenas at Fury FC 60 via armbar in the second round. Then at Fury FC 67, he tapped out Soloman Amadeo in round one via arm-triangle choke. Saenz defeated Jason Rivera via TKO in round three at Fury FC Challenger Series 1 to score his first and only knockout win as a professional. He submitted Justice Lamprez in the first round via triangle choke at Fury FC Challenger Series 4 to secure his third submission win as a professional. Saenz defeated Nick Compton via unanimous decision at Fury FC Challenger Series 5.
In the co-main event of Fury FC 85, he defeated Tracy Reeder via unanimous decision. The win earned Saenz the third decision victory of his professional career. He also picked up his seventh win inside the professional ranks in the process. Coming in at 7-2, Saenz’s silver starred precision has left opponents tied in unescapable knots!
