Across The Pond profile PFL Europe fighter Kunle Lawal

A large part of being a successful promotion on either side of the globe is the willingness to expand your brand reach to new horizons to places other than your home base of operations. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a bushwhacker of bullish violence ready to ring freedom’s bell at the Hydro in Glasgow on September 28 in an event with the future of Scottish MMA front and center for the biggest Scottish event in living memory. A professional mixed martial artist since March 2024 and representing Higher Level Martial Arts under James Doolan, Kunle Lawal holds a 1-1 record with his one and only win as a professional MMA fighter coming via TKO. He has fought for Caestus MMA and has spent his entire professional career in the United Kingdom. Lawal has never gone to the scorecards at any point in time over the course of his career as a professional mixed martial artist and has a 100 percent finish rate to show for it. He has a single first-round finish under his belt in his first two professional appearances. The lone finish during Lawal’s career in the professional MMA ranks has come inside the opening round with a time of two minutes and 12 seconds.

In his professional MMA debut in the main event of Caestus MMA 2, he faced Konrad Nowicki and defeated him via technical knockout in the first round. The win earned Lawal the first knockout victory of his professional career. He also picked up his first victory inside the professional ranks in the process. Other Scottish talents that are scheduled to appear on PFL Glasgow will include Mark Ewen, the undefeated Lorenzo Parente and Gemma Auld. With this event marking PFL‘S debut on Scottish soil, PFL Glasgow has all the trappings for an event to remember and remain etched in memories for many years onward!
