A professional mixed martial artist since February 2024 and representing SBG Naas under Peter Queally, Conor McCarthy owns a 2-0 record with each of his wins in the professional ranks coming via TKO. He has fought for Cage Legacy MMA and has spent his entire professional in the United Kingdom. Both of his finishes over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter have come inside the opening round. McCarthy has never gone to the scorecards at any point in time during his career as a professional mixed martial artist with two first-round finishes under his belt and a 100 percent finish rate to show for it in the span of five minutes or fewer. McCarthy has yet to make it past round one during his journey in the professional MMA ranks thus far.
In his professional MMA debut in the co-main event of Cage Legacy MMA 20, he faced Rafael Gomes and went on to defeat him via technical knockout in round one. Then in the co-main event of Cage Legacy MMA 23, McCarthy defeated Gabriel Lanza via TKO in the first round. The win earned McCarthy the second knockout victory of his professional career in addition to back-to-back wins and finishes under the Cage Legacy MMA banner. He also picked up consecutive wins and finishes to begin his professional career in the process.
