UFL 5 Weigh In Results

All fighters have officially made weight ahead of UFL 5: Phoenix vs. Vegas which goes down on Friday, August 30, from Wild Horse Pass Casino in Arizona. Former UFC two-weight champion, Henry Cejudo, and his team from Phoenix look to defend home turf opposite heavyweight legend, Frank Mir, who leads the charge for Team Vegas. The winning teams’ fighters will leave with $50,000 prize money.   In the main event, Hunter Azure (11-3), will put his bantamweight belt on the line while representing Team Phoenix against fellow UFC veteran, Vince Morales (15-7). PFL alumni, Sheymon Moraes (15-6), clashes with late replacement, TJ Brown (18-11), at lightweight in the co-headliner.   Knockout artist, Marcus Nash (1-0), throws down with Team Vegas representative, Trent Miller (5-1), at middleweight and talented prospect, Ray Waters (4-0), faces all-rounder, William Gibson (3-1), in a welterweight bout. GLORY 94 Weigh-In Results

GLORY, the world’s largest kickboxing organisation, returns to Belgium tomorrow night, Saturday, August 31, with GLORY 94 taking place live from the Lotto Arena in Antwerp.   All fighters weighed-in this afternoon in Antwerp ahead of GLORY with all but one fighter making their contracted weight. All bouts remain on the thirteen-fight card.   The main event will see two of the light heavyweight division’s most explosive young prospects clash as Romania’s Stefan Latescu (17-3, 8 KO) faces Turkey’s Cem Caceres (16-1, 13 KO).   Belgium based Albanian Berjan Peposhi (29-4, 16 KO) will compete in the co-main event. The always exciting featherweight welcomes rising star Ayoub Bourass (14-1, 4 KO) in to make his GLORY debut. International Muay Thai superstar Youssef Boughanem (188-43-8, 120 KO) returns for his sophomore GLORY outing against tough Italian Angelo Volpe (38-5, 12 KO).   Former middleweight title contender Serkan Ozcaglayan (45-10, 36 KO) takes on Antwerp’s own Jente Nnamadim (21-5, 11 KO), who comes in to make his GLORY debut in his hometown.   Elsewhere on the main card, heavyweights Sofian Laidouni (36-3-1, 18 KO) and Nico ‘Big Sexy’ Horta (22-9, 3 KO) collide, popular Dutch welterweights Jay Overmeer (29-7, 15 KO) & Ismail Ouzgni (4-2, 1 KO) meet, Mory Kromah (29-2-1, 17 KO) takes on Mohamed Amine (29-8, 16 KO) in a heated light heavyweight battle, and James Conde (10-1, 4 KO) versus Younes Smaili (40-3, 19 KO) will now be contested at a 74.6kg catchweight following Smaili’s missed weight attempt.   The GLORY 94 preliminary card will be free worldwide on the GLORY YouTube channel and will be headlined by ‘House of GLORY’ winner & former title contender Anwar Ouled-Chaib (3-1) as he goes up against French KO artist Cedric Tousch (31-2, 19 KO). Learning on the job in athletics is hardly ever without its trials and tribulations and plenty of unforeseen errors throughout being an athlete. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a sledgehammer of Saint George ready to nail down his future potential and strike. At the same time, the irons are red hot at Lightweight for Cage Warriors Academy Southeast at Cage Warriors Academy Southeast 36 on October 5 at Charter Hall with a card featuring many of the academy’s leading Amateurs. An Amateur mixed martial artist since April 2024 and representing BKK Fighters under Jack Mason, Mitchell Thorpe holds a 2-0 record with both of his victories inside the Amateur ranks coming via decision. Thorpe has spent his whole career as an Amateur MMA fighter with Cage Warriors Academy Southeast and is 2-0 under their banner. He has gone to the scorecards twice during his Amateur ranks sweeping them all across the board in both instances. Thorpe has spent his entire career as an Amateur mixed martial artist in the United Kingdom. In his Amateur MMA debut and promotional debut with Cage Warriors Academy Southeast at CWASE 34, he faced Jayden Wilkinson and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Then in his second outing under the Cage Warriors Academy Southeast banner at CWASE 35, Thorpe defeated Mohammed Seffa via unanimous decision. The victory earned Thorpe the second decision win of his Amateur career in addition to back-to back wins under the Cage Warriors Academy Southeast banner. He also picked up back-to back victories to start his Amateur career in the process. At Cage Warriors Academy Southeast 36 on October 5, he will square off against Kadre Dene in an encounter at Lightweight. Good luck Mitchell!
