When a highly touted prospect enters the professional arena for a taste of MMA action, their actions will speak the loudest alongside the spoken word. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to the latest cat of the Irish cradle ready to move mountains at Heavyweight for Full Contender. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2024 and representing C Mac, Trevor Makengo owns a 1-0 record with his lone victory in the professional ranks coming via TKO. He is 1-0 under the Full Contact Contender banner with a single second-round finish under his belt in his only appearance with the promotion. Makengo has spent his whole career as a professional MMA fighter in the United Kingdom. He has never gone to the scorecards at any point in time over the course of his career as a professional mixed martial artist with a 100 percent finish rate to show for it. The one and only finish during Makengo’s professional career has come within the second round with a time of three minutes and 14 seconds. He fought for various organizations in the United Kingdom as an Amateur including Clan Wars and Akuma Fighting Championship prior to transitioning to the professional MMA ranks.

In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut under the Full Contact Contender banner on the main card of FCC 39, he faced Hassan Hussain and defeated him via technical knockout in the second round. The win earned Makengo the first knockout victory of his professional career along with his first win and finish under the FCC banner. He also picked up his first victory inside the professional ranks in the process. Makengo’s earthquaking roar and Irish zeal are enough to send opponents scattering for safe and secure cover like a herd of frenzied animals running in every direction with no signs of stopping to yield!
