The evolution of women’s MMA has allowed the sport as a collective whole to reach a level of spoken acceptance in the spirit of competition and has leveled the playing field to an equal footing for future generations as a result. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to the newest Lone Star whirlwind ready to teach opponents the Texas twostep at Atomweight for Invicta Fighting Championships from Memorial Hall at Invicta FC 58 on November 6. A professional mixed martial artist since August 2024 and representing Global Martial Arts, Hope Holmes owns a 1-0 record with her only win in the professional ranks coming via decision. She has fought for Peak Fighting. Holmes also fought for Fury Fighting Championship in her home state of Texas as an Amateur prior to turning professional. She has spent her entire journey as a professional MMA fighter in the United States. Holmes has gone to the scorecards once over the course of her time as a professional mixed martial artist. Her lone decision victory during her professional career has resulted in a unanimous verdict. Holmes has a single unanimous decision win under her belt in her one and only professional appearance thus far over the course of three rounds and a period of 15 minutes.
In her professional MMA debut and promotional debut under the Peak Fighting banner on the preliminary card of Peak Fighting 38, she faced Amanda Lovato and went on to defeat her via unanimous decision. The victory earned Holmes the first decision win of her professional career along with her first win under the Peak Fighting banner. She also locked up her first victory inside the professional ranks in the process.
In her debut outing under the Invicta Fighting Championships banner at Invicta FC 58 on November 6, she will face off against Magdelena Czaban in an Atomweight affair. Good luck Hope!
