Cage Warriors – Europe’s Leading MMA Organisation – have today confirmed a third world title fight for their upcoming return to Newcastle’s Vertu Motors Arena on November 23rd.
Kennedy Freeman – daughter of UFC icon Ian Freeman – will vie for the vacant Cage Warriors women’s bantamweight world title as she takes on Poland’s Emilia Czerwińska.
Freeman (5-0), who signed an exclusive multi-fight deal with the promotion last year, has already made a name for herself with two impressive victories under the Cage Warriors banner.
Her latest triumph came in April when she delivered a stunning highlight-reel finish against Brazilian powerhouse Gisele Libânio, marking the biggest win of her career so far.
Czerwińska (3-1), meanwhile, returns to action after a unanimous decision win in December, regaining momentum in her MMA career.
The Polish fighter boasts an extensive kickboxing background, having claimed two world championships, and will be looking to bring that striking pedigree to the Cage Warriors cage.
This matchup marks a historic moment for the promotion, as it will be the first women’s title fight since Molly McCann captured the flyweight belt in 2018.
“Kennedy Freeman has been laser-focused on Cage Warriors gold from the moment she inked her multi-fight deal with us…” said CW President Graham Boylan.
“…but to claim that belt, she’ll have to go through one of Europe’s top rising stars, Emilia Czerwińska. It’s going to be a war.”
“We’re bringing some serious firepower to Newcastle for our final European show of 2024, with three world title fights guaranteed to end the year with a bang!”
In addition to Freeman vs. Czerwińska, CW 181 will also feature Harry Hardwick’s first title defence, as he faces surging contender Keweny Lopes. The card is further bolstered by a flyweight world title fight between Shaj Haque and Nicolas Leblond.
CW 181 will air live on UFC Fight Pass and international broadcast partners.
