In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the latest Amateur maintaining a state of youthful excellence at Flyweight for Synergy FC. An Amateur mixed martial artist since March 2021 and representing Springfield Fight Club, Trent Zykan owns a 4-1 record in five contests consisting of three submissions and one knockout. He has fought for various organizations during his time in the Amateur ranks including Synergy FC. Zykan has spent his entire Amateur career in the United States. He has never gone to the scorecards at any point in time over the course of his journey as an Amateur MMA fighter with a 100 percent finish rate to show for it. All of Zykan’s finishes during his career as an Amateur mixed martial artist have been inside the distance. He is 2-1 under the Synergy FC banner with two finishes under his belt in three appearances with the promotion.

In his Amateur MMA debut at Cage Of Honor 81, he faced Travis Baston and went on to knock him out in round two. Zykan submitted Van San via rear-naked choke in the second round at Fight Hard MMA Springfield Fight Night 2. Then at Synergy FC 10, he tapped out Gregory Inman in round one.

At Synergy FC 12, he submitted Tyree Robins via rear-naked choke in the second round. The victory earned Zykan the third submission win of his Amateur career in addition to consecutive wins and finishes under the Synergy FC banner. He also secured his fourth win inside the Amateur ranks in the process. Zkyan knows that the best way a king can keep his throne is repel all invaders in commanding fashion!
