Veteran experience can be a fighter’s most important asset when weathering adversity in mixed martial arts. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a crocodile of ageless nature ready to chew away at the clock of Father Time with the assistance of natural underground elements at Bantamweight for Cage Warriors. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2019 and representing Fearless MMA, Richard Kallos holds a 3-2 record with all of his victories coming via submission. He has fought for several promotions throughout his career as a professional MMA fighter including Battle Arena and Bellator MMA. Kallos has spent his entire career in the United Kingdom and is 1-0 under the Cage Warriors banner. All three of his finishes over the course of his journey as a professional mixed martial artist have come inside of a single round within the time frame of five minutes or fewer. He has a 100 percent finish rate with three first-round finishes under his belt through five appearances in the professional ranks. Kallos fought for Cage Warriors Academy Northwest and Golden Ticket Fight Promotions as an Amateur prior to turning professional.
At Battle Arena 56, he faced Reece Street and tapped him out via arm-triangle choke in the first round. Kallos also submitted Craig Skelton in round one via rear-naked choke at Almighty Fighting Championship 14. Then in his promotional debut under the Cage Warriors banner on the preliminary card of Cage Warriors 180, he tapped out Tommy Brunning via armbar in the first round. The victory earned Kallos the third submission win of his professional career along with his first win and finish under the Cage Warriors banner. He also secured his third first-round finish inside the professional ranks in the process. Kallos is one gator whose ironclad submissions take a hefty bite out of the opposition as his jaws clamp down like a steel snare trap on his quarry!
