CW181: Newcastle – Final Card & Broadcast Times

It’s fight week in Newcastle! Cage Warriors – Europe’s Leading MMA Organisation – is back in The Toon to cap off the European leg of its 2024 world tour with one of the year’s most stacked nights of combat!

In the evening’s main event, featherweight champion Harry Hardwick will make the first defence of his title in what looks set to be the biggest test of his career, as he faces Brazilian buzzsaw Keweny Lopes.

In the second of three title bouts, local favourite Kennedy Freeman gets her first shot at the gold when she takes on Portugal’s Mafalda Carmona, with the winner being crowned the new Cage Warriors Woman’s Bantamweight World Title.

Rounding out the title fight triple-header is the long-awaited 125lb clash between champion Shaj Haque and French KO artist Nicolas Leblond.

In a late addition to the card, Scottish prodigy Sean Clancy Jr will return to the cage in search of his third win of the year and a measure of redemption for the Scottish contingent, when he faces Brazil’s Andrey Augusto, who recently defeated countryman Chris Bungard.

CW favourites James Power, Dumitru Girlean, Justin Burlinson and Charles Joyner also feature on a bill bursting with local and international talent!
