Becoming involved in the sporting lifestyle can offer many benefits to those who are never afraid of hard labor despite how a fighter looks to the outside world when they venture into the mixed martial arts realm of untold glories once the quest begins. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to the latest barker of horror Howlings and ominous omens of dread ready to exabit the full hound for Full Contact Contender in 2025. An Amateur mixed martial artist since March 2024 and representing The Dog Pit, Jimmy Durkin owns an undefeated 3-0 record comprised of two knockouts and one submission. All of his finishes during his journey in the Amateur MMA ranks have come within the opening round in the span of five minutes or fewer. He has spent his whole Amateur tenure in the United Kingdom. Durkin has spent his entire Amateur career with Full Contact Contender and is 3-0 under their banner. He has never gone to the scorecards over the course of his career as an Amateur MMA fighter with a 100 percent finishing rate to show for it.

In his Amateur MMA debut and promotional debut under the Full Contact Contender banner at FCC 37, he submitted Abdullahi Abubakar via armbar in the first round to score his only submission win as an Amateur. Durkin defeated Cameron Russell via technical knockout in round one at FCC 38. Then at FCC 39, he defeated Karol Biskupski via TKO in the first round. The victory earned Durkin the second knockout win of his Amateur career alongside his third consecutive victory and finish under the FCC banner. He also secured his third straight first-round finish to start his Amateur career in the process. Durkin’s echoing growls show that the combat hunt is not for the feint hearted because he never gives up pursuit in the name of a spirited chase!
