The Amateur ranks can provide invaluable insights into a prospective mixed martial artist’s professional fighting future once all the respective information is taken into account. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a canine cannonball ready to sharpen his hunting track as one of Scotland’s experienced battle hounds. An Amateur mixed martial artist since March 2015 and representing Results Gym Forfar, Frazer Hirsch owns a 7-5 record in 12 contests consisting of four decisions, two submissions and one knockout. He has fought for various organizations throughout his journey in the Amateur ranks including Cage Warriors Academy Wales, Goliath Fight Series and On Top Promotions. Hirsch has spent his entire Amateur career in the United Kingdom. All of his decision wins have resulted in unanimous verdicts. All three of Hirsch’s finishes during his Amateur career have come inside the opening round.

At On Top Promotions March Mayhem, he submitted Darren Ross via kimura in round one. Hirsch also tapped out Sean Stroud at Arena Fight Promotions in the first round via armbar to notch his second submission win as an Amateur. Then at On Top Promotions Future Stars, he defeated Alex Feld via unanimous decision. Hirsch defeated Jordan May via TKO in the first round at Vison UK Combat MMA 4 to score his only knockout victory as an Amateur. He defeated David Slattery at On Top Promotions 23 via unanimous decision. Hirsch defeated Tom Lamb via unanimous decision at Goliath Fight Series 1.

At Cage Warriors Academy Wales 8, he defeated Morgan Lennon via unanimous decision. The victory earned Hirsch the fourth decision win of his Amateur career. He also secured his seventh win inside the Amateur ranks in the process. Hirsch is one prospect that once locked in on an opponent’s scent, all available avenues of escape leave them all but boxed in with little margin for a restart!
