A professional mixed martial artist since January 2023 and representing WAR Training Center, Bruce Whitehead holds a 5-1 record in six contests consisting of two submissions, one knockout and two decisions. All of his finishes over the course of his professional journey have come inside of a single round. Whitehead has spent his whole professional career with Fury Fighting Championship and has spent his entire professional career in the United States. He has gone to the scorecards twice in six professional appearances. Whitehead has finished three out of his five overall wins during his time in the professional MMA ranks.
In his professional MMA debut at Fury FC Challenger Series 2, he defeated Treyvon Coker via unanimous decision. Whitehead defeated Tater McSpadden at Fury FC 79 via a split decision to score his second decision win as a professional. Then at Fury FC 82, he submitted Raymond Cardenas in the first round via ninja choke. Whitehead tapped out Darren Robinson in round one via rear-naked choke at Fury FC 84 to notch his second submission victory as a professional.
At Fury FC 92, he defeated Rusty Turley via technical knockout in the first round. The win earned Whitehead the first knockout victory of his professional career. He also secured his fifth win inside the professional ranks in the process. In the co-main event of Fury FC 103 on March 23, he will square off against Kenan Jackson in a Welterweight encounter.
