Whether you are a professional athlete or not, having an adventurous spirit often leads you to embark on less-traveled roads throughout every aspect of life. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the latest world roamer ready to settle into the yellow glove life for Cage Warriors in the lightweight division at just 19 years of age. A professional mixed martial artist since March 2025 and representing Team Renegade, Joshua Adeboye owns a 1-0 record with his sole professional win coming via TKO. He has spent his whole professional career with Cage Warriors and is 1-0 under their banner with one third-round finish under his belt in his only appearance with the promotion to show for it. Adeboye also fought for several promotions as an Amateur before becoming professional, including Almighty Fighting Championship and Golden Ticket Fight Promotions. He has spent his entire career as a professional MMA fighter in the United Kingdom. He has never gone to the scorecards at any stage of his professional journey with a finish rate of 100 percent.

In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut in the opening preliminary bout of Cage Warriors 185 as part of a two-night Manchester doubleheader from the BEC Arena, he faced Aaron Pierre and went on to defeat him via technical knockout in the third round. The victory earned Adeboye the first knockout win of his professional career. Adeboye also secured his first win and finish under the Cage Warriors banner in addition to scoring victory number one inside the professional ranks in the process. This cub of the savanna has a roar that will echo across continents as the years progress thanks in large part to his team’s historical pedigree and the company he keeps in showing him the MMA ropes, so be careful what ground you tread upon, or opponents will end up a quick meal that is an off-menu item!
