One of the life lessons that MMA continuously teaches is that no matter how fleeting they may seem to the outside world or what age you are, dreams can be realized if you believe in yourself.  In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the latest Yellow Glove signee who is ready to set the clock in rewind and show his supporters that you can indeed turn over a new leaf for Cage Warriors. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2011 and representing Studio Martial Arts, Tye Palmer holds a 6-8 record in 14 outings comprised of three submissions, two knockouts and one decision. He has fought for numerous promotions throughout his career as a professional MMA fighter including Cage Warriors. Palmer has spent his entire career in the United Kingdom and has finished five out of his six total victories. His lone decision win over the course of his professional journey has resulted in a unanimous verdict.

At UWC 22, he submitted Scott Rogan via rear-naked choke in the first round. Palmer also tapped out Andrew Thalic in round one via rear-naked choke at Fury MMA 11. Then at UCMMA 40, he defeated Arunas Klimavicius via TKO in the first round. Palmer submitted Tommy Gunn via kimura in round one at Fury MMA 12 to score his third submission win as a professional. He defeated Matthew Holland via technical knockout in the first round at Fusion Fighting Championship 38 to notch his second knockout victory as a professional.

At Fusion Fighting Championship 39, Palmer defeated George Smith via unanimous decision. The victory earned Palmer the first and only decision win of his professional career. He also picked up his sixth win overall inside the professional ranks in the process. Even with veteran experience, Palmer’s commanding presence can maneuver him around the stickiest of traffic jams when all seems lost!
