Being constantly on the go in mixed martial arts may require a vast amount of personal willpower, but the reward of satisfaction after months of intensive labor is always worth its weight in gold. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the latest czarina of cold touch looking to send Full Contact Contender into glorious golden meltdown. An Amateur mixed martial artist since June 2024 and representing Smooth Combat Academy, Anna Shukhman holds a 3-1 record in four bouts consisting of two submissions and one knockout. She has fought for various promotions throughout her Amateur journey including Full Contact Contender and is 2-0 under their banner with two finishes under her belt in two appearances with the promotion. Shukhman has spent her whole tenure as an Amateur MMA fighter in the United Kingdom and has finished all three of her victories over the course of her Amateur career with a finishing rate of 1oo percent to show for it. She has two second-round finishes alongside one first-round finish in four appearances as an Amateur mixed martial artist so far.

At WFC 5, she faced Ellen Egan and submitted her in round two via rear-naked choke. Shukhman defeated Lila Twarowska via technical knockout in round one in her promotional debut with Full Contact Contender at FCC 40 to notch her only knockout win as an Amateur. Then at FCC 41, she tapped out Amy Timlin via rear-naked choke in the second round. The victory earned Shukhman the second submission win of her Amateur career to go along with back-to back wins and finishes under the Full Contact Contender banner. She also secured her third win inside the Amateur ranks in the process. Shukhman’s experience may be little, but her icy ground grip can wipe away an opponent’s footing and turn even the most carefully laid plans upside down!
