In mixed martial arts, the first step to success is to assemble the right team around them who can assist in passing on their knowledge to future generations of athletes, even if they never become a household name overnight. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the latest ground gouger of serpentine craftiness leaving the opposition in surgical wraps of stinging constriction at Welterweight for Full Contact Contender. An Amateur mixed martial artist since September 2024 and representing Team Aspinall, Zac Fagan holds a 2-0 record with both of his victories during his journey as an Amateur MMA fighter coming via submission. He has fought for Almighty Fighting Championship and Full Contact Contender and has spent his whole Amateur career in the United Kingdom. Fagan has never gone to the scorecards at any time over the course of his Amateur journey with a 100 percent finish rate to show for it. He has one first-round finish alongside a single third-round finish under his belt though two appearances as an Amateur mixed martial artist so far. Fagan has finished each of his wins during his career in the Amateur MMA ranks. He is 1-0 under the Full Contact Contender banner.

In his Amateur MMA debut at Almighty Fighting Championship 38, he faced Josh Batterham and went on to tap him out via armbar in round one. Then in his promotional debut with Full Contact Contender at FCC 41 Fagan submitted Archjad Burlov via rear-naked choke in the third round. The win scored Fagan the second submission victory of his Amateur career in addition to his first victory and finish under the Full Contact Contender banner. He also earned back-to-back wins and finishes to start his Amateur career in the process.

At FCC 42 on June 7, Fagan will face Jack McLeod for the Full Contact Contender Welterweight title. Good luck Zac!
