Dunphy’s treatments have left him with a 10 cm scar after two surgeries, and his condition continues to worsen. To manage the growing medical expenses and fund their dream wedding, Dunphy and Connolly set up a fundraiser aiming to raise €40,000 ($45,380).
McGregor’s generous donation covered a quarter of their goal, helping the couple move forward with their plans. Known for his charitable acts, McGregor has previously donated to others facing serious illnesses, proving his commitment to helping those in need.
