An Amateur mixed martial artist since June 2019 and representing ASW, Josh Carrick holds a 7-3 record in 10 bouts comprised of five knockouts, one submission and one decision. He has fought for numerous promotions throughout his Amateur career including Caged Steel and Full Contact Contender and has spent his entire career in the United Kingdom. Carrick has finished six out of his seven total wins over the course of his journey as an Amateur MMA fighter. He is 1-0 under the Full Contact Contender banner.
In his Amateur MMA debut at Machine MMA 25, he faced Dan Robson and defeated him via technical knockout in round one. Carrick also defeated George Morris via TKO in the first round at Machine MMA 26. Then at Almighty Fighting Championship 21, he knocked out Tony Purcell in round one. Carrick defeated Mateusz Bisha via technical knockout in the first round at Almighty Fighting Championship 24. At Caged Steel 33 he defeated Charlie Metcalfe via TKO in round one to notch his fifth knockout win as an Amateur. Carrick defeated Ajani Sturge at Almighty Fighting Championship 38 via unanimous decision to score his first and only decision victory as an Amateur.
At FCC 41, he submitted Matthew Spencer in the first round via keylock to secure the first submission win of his Amateur career in addition to his first victory and finish under the FCC banner. He also earned his seventh win inside the Amateur ranks in the process. When Carrick makes a chopping motion, utter devastation follows!
