In every sense of the word, athletes are natural worker bees because they possess a flame that constantly remains lit inside them through their raging desire to never quit even when they dealt a rough hand. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a hornet of heavy radiance and painful punishments buzzing to be king of the lone star hive at Featherweight for Fury Fighting Championship. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2022 and representing Gracie Barra Katy, Tony Toro holds a 4-2 record in six contests consisting of three knockouts and one decision. He has spent his whole professional career with Fury Fighting Championship and has spent his entire tenure as a professional MMA fighter in the United States in his home state of Texas. Toro also fought for Fury Fighting Championship as an Amateur before turning professional. He has finished three out of his four total victories over the course of his journey in the professional ranks. All of his finishes during his career have come inside of two rounds. Toro’s lone decision victory has resulted in a unanimous verdict.

In his professional MMA debut at Fury FC Challenger Series 1, he faced Jose Lemus and defeated him via technical knockout in round one. Toro defeated Joshua Aleman at Fury FC 82 via unanimous decision to notch his only decision win as a professional. Then at Fury FC 89, he defeated Joel Madak via TKO in the second round. Toro knocked out Juan Alverez Jr in round two at Fury FC 96. The victory scored Toro the third knockout win of his professional career in addition to his third finish under the Fury Fighting Championship banner. He also earned his fourth overall win as a professional mixed martial artist in the process.

At Fury FC Challenger Series 14 on July 27, Toro will take on Nick Talavera in a Featherweight encounter. Good luck Tony!
