In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a challenger of chance circumstances ready to flip momentum’s lucky switch at Cage Warriors 193 on September 13 from the Vetru Motors Arena in Newcastle. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2015 and representing Roker Rough House MMA, Joshua Abraham holds an 8-5 record in 13 bouts consisting of four knockouts, three submissions and one decision. He has fought for various promotions over the course of his journey as a professional MMA fighter including Cage Warriors. Abraham has finished seven out of his eight overall wins during his professional career and has spent his whole career in the United Kingdom.

In his professional MMA debut at Machine MMA 13, he defeated David Young via technical knockout in the first round. Abraham also knocked out Wes O’ Neil in round one at MMA Total Combat 68. Then at ICE FC 16, he defeated Josh Calloway via TKO in the first round. Abraham submitted Craig Clarkson via armbar at M4TC 23 Carnage. Abraham submitted Danny Nash at M4TC 25 Legacy via armbar in round one to secure his third submission victory as a professional. He defeated Liam Thomas via TKO in the first round at Unity Fighting Championship to score his fourth knockout win as a professional.

On the preliminary card of Cage Warriors 190, he defeated Harry Shaw via unanimous decision. The win earned Abraham the first decision victory of his professional career along with his first win under the Cage Warriors banner. He also picked up his eighth overall win as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. At Cage Warriors 193 on September 13 Abraham will face Alexis Tsarmantdis in a Featherweight contest.
