For athletes whose whole lives are centered around a routine, finding a schedule that is tailored to their individual needs might be what is needed to ease into their second wind. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a crucible coder ready to turn the key on the next chapter of his career arc with his new victory formula in Fury Fighting Championship. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2024 and representing Gracie Barra The Woodlands, Josh Thomas owns a 4-2 record in six contests consisting of two knockouts, one submission and one decision. He has spent the majority of his career as a professional MMA fighter with Fury Fighting Championship and has spent his entire career in the United States in his home state of Texas. Thomas also fought for Fury Fighting Championship as an Amateur before turning professional. All of his finishes during his professional career have come inside of a single round. His only decision win has resulted in a unanimous verdict. Thomas has finished three out of his four total victories over the course of his journey in the professional ranks.

In his professional MMA debut at Elevate FC Fight Night 3, he faced Mauricio Loyo and defeated him in round one. Thomas tapped out Marcell Mickens via rear-naked choke in the first round in his promotional debut under the Fury Fighting Championship banner at Fury FC 93 to notch his first submission win as a professional. Then on the main card of Fury FC Challenger Series 13, he defeated Cristian Lopez via technical knockout in round one to score his second knockout victory as a professional.

At Fury FC 107, Thomas defeated Jacob Berry via unanimous decision. The victory secured Thomas the first decision win of his professional career. He also earned his fourth overall victory as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. Thomas is a prospect who illustrates that even though you may experience some rough patches on the road of success, being resilient can smooth out all of the problems once you cleanse the doubt and distractions that block the path towards your safe space of mental peace!
