The marathon that is mixed martial arts and sports in general is the ultimate race against the clock for athletes whose winning fire refuses to go out even when they are at their lowest moments. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a prowler of poise flexing his power paws with his determined nature in Fury Fighting Championship as the latest big cat to grace the jungle arena. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2024 and representing Wolves Den Training Center, Tivon Taylor owns a 1-1 record with his only win coming via submission. He has spent his whole career in the United States. Taylor has never gone to the scorecards during his journey with a 100 percent finish rate to show for it and has spent his entire tenure as a professional MMA fighter with Fury Fighting Championship and is 1-1 under their banner. He has a single first-round finish under his belt through two professional appearances with a time of one minute and 42 seconds. Taylor also fought for various promotions as an Amateur including Synergy FC before turning professional. The lone finish over the course of his journey in the professional ranks has come inside the opening round within five minutes or fewer.
In his Sophomore outing under the Fury Fighting Championship banner on the preliminary card of Fury FC 109, he faced Arouna Ntosengeh and went on to submit him via keylock in the first round. The victory secured Taylor the first submission win of his professional career alongside his first win and finish under the Fury Fighting Championship banner. He also picked up his first overall victory as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. Once Taylor senses that his prey into a corner with nowhere to go, he pounces with authority in an attempt to assert his dominance over the rest of his big cat brethren!
