Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series can often be described as a bridge for fighters who are ready to reach their final destination of the MMA major leagues. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a gator of gargantuan bite ready to take a chow down chomp on the MMA food chain. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2023 and representing UFC Gym Largo, Anthony Guarascio holds a 3-1-1 record in four contests consisting of two knockouts, one submission and a no contest. He appeared on week five during Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series ninth season in 2025. Guarascio has fought for several organizations over the course of his career in the professional ranks including Cage Fury Fighting Championships and has spent his whole career in the United States. All of his finishes have come in the opening round inside of five minutes or fewer. Guarascio has never gone to the scorecards during his career as a professional MMA fighter with a 100 percent finish rate to show for it.

In his professional MMA debut at WXC 92 Xtreme Halloween, he submitted Mike Johnson in round one to notch his first and only submission win as a professional. Gaurascio defeated Justin Harbison via technical knockout in the first round in his promotional debut under the Cage Fury Fighting Championships banner at CFFC 133. Then in the main event of CFFC 141, he knocked out Bailey Schoenfelder in round one. The win scored Guarascio the second knockout victory of his professional career in addition to back-to-back wins and finishes under the Cage Fury Fighting Championships banner. He also picked up his third overall victory as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. With the ability to finish all comers in spite of their size, Gaurascio’s sharklike stealth leaves the opposition circling around caution tape!
