The mixed martial arts gauntlet is forged by those who remain steadfast in their mental and physical determination even when the hand they are dealt is not exactly a full deck of distractions. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a Swedish smoke stinger ready to belt out plumes of choking constriction at Bantamweight for Oktagon MMA. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2024 and representing Allstars Training Center, Liam Pitts owns a 3-0 record consisting of two knockouts and one submission. Pitts has never gone to the scorecards during his career as a professional MMA fighter with a 100 percent finish rate under his belt in three appearances inside the professional ranks to show for it. All of his finishes over the course of his professional journey have come inside the distance. Pitts is 1-0 under the Oktagon MMA banner. He has two first-round finishes alongside a single third-round finish. Pitts has spent the majority of his MMA career in his home nation of Sweeden and has also fought in the Czech Republic.
In his professional MMA debut at AFN 8, he took on Brandon Najera and defeated him via technical knockout in the third round. Pitts also defeated Aleksandar Antonov via TKO in round one at AFN 10 to earn his second knockout win as a professional. Then in his promotional debut under the Oktagon MMA banner at Oktagon MMA 79, he submitted Stephan Guidea via rear-naked choke in the first round. The win scored Pitts the first submission win of his professional career along with picking up his first victory and finish under the Oktagon MMA banner. He also secured his third overall win as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. Pitts is a prospect who envisions a goal that has remained unspoken, then sets out to make it a true reality!
