Fighters in smaller weight classes have been known to pack plenty of attitude and will often stay close to home when considering their overall approach to their MMA roadmap. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a Lone Star hot spotter ready to strike it rich with substantial wealth designed to keep him in the green while delivering on the dollar deals at bargain prices at Flyweight for Fury Fighting Championship. An Amateur mixed martial artist since November 2024 and representing 4 OZ Fight Club, Jorge Regalado owns a 4-1 record in five outings consisting of three submissions and one knockout. He has spent the majority of his career as an Amateur MMA fighter with Fury Fighting Championship. Regalado has spent his entire Amateur journey in the United States in his home state of Texas. He has never gone to the scorecards through five appearances inside the Amateur ranks with a 100 percent finish rate under his belt to show for it. All of his finishes have come within two rounds. Regalado is 4-0 under the Fury Fighting Championship banner.
In his Amateur MMA debut at Fury FC Amateur Series 55, he submitted Solomon August via triangle armbar in the first round. Regalado defeated Ibraheem Khan via TKO in round one at Fury FC Amateur Series 56 to score his first and only knockout win as an Amateur. Then at Fury FC Amateur Series 58, he tapped out Mehul Somarotu in the second round.
At Fury FC 112, Regalado submitted Jesus Alfaro via rear-naked choke in round two. The win earned Regalado the third submission victory of his Amateur career to go along with finish number four under the Fury Fighting Championship banner. He also secured his fourth overall win as an Amateur mixed martial artist in the process. Regalado is a prospect with plenty of stinging spice like a hot pepper coming up from its earthen roots to anchor the heavy afterburn effects!
