In his Amateur MMA debut at Golden Ticket Fight Promotions 20, he defeated Ryan Franklin via technical knockout in the first round. Cartridge defeated Caesar Castillo at Golden Ticket Fight Promotions 21 via unanimous decision. Then at IMMAF 2022 World Championships Day two, he defeated Stefan Savic via TKO in round three. Cartridge defeated Trevor Makengo via unanimous decision at EMMA Four Nations 2023 Day three to secure his second decision win as amateur. He defeated David Idemudia via technical knockout in the third round at Golden Ticket Fight Promotions 27.
At Golden Ticket Fight Promotions 28, Cartridge defeated Aris Koutsodimos via TKO in round three to earn the fourth knockout victory of his Amateur career.
